2024 Competitive Grant Application
The PSE Foundation 2024 competitive grant program will help empower resiliency and build capacity within: Food security, Shelter and Childcare programs across the communities Puget Sound Energy serves (Whatcom, Island, Skagit, Snohomish, King, Kitsap, Kittitas, Pierce, Lewis and Thurston counties) and has employees (Columbia, Cowlitz, Garfield, Klickitat)..
Grant requests should identify how grant funding can help develop or strengthen competencies, strategies, systems or structures that improve organizational effectiveness and increase the capacity to serve or operate within the funding areas identified to the right.
Grant requests will be funded at $5,000, $7,500 or $10,000 with the program funded at $500,000.
The grant process is competitive. Requests will be evaluated in relation to all proposals received and the availability of resources. All applicants will be contacted regarding the status of their application once the determination is complete.
Local PSE employee volunteers who are professionally trained in grant reviewing and equity, will review applications received from organizations within the community where they work, live or raise their families.
Submissions will be accepted through May 13, 2024 at midnight.
Applicant must be a 501C3 nonprofit organization, Tribal Government or organization with a 501C3 fiscal sponsor serving in the counties listed above to submit an application.
This program cannot fund: Individual K-12 schools, youth groups, clubs, families or persons. Fundraisers or event sponsorships. Permanent staff payroll, wages or salaries. Organizations classified as a religious or political designation unless charitably serving the public without discrimination (such as a food bank).
