To our Community,

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to cripple our communities with disproportionate impacts on those already marginalized and most vulnerable. It has exacerbated the challenges facing our communities including racial inequities, health and welfare insecurities.

The PSE Foundation is committed to helping our communities HEAL from insecurities worsened by the pandemic and we will extend our COVID-19 focus through 2021 to help address these impacts. Our 2021 grant awards will focus on the most immediate needs such as childcare, housing, food and other essential services.

We encourage grant requests that enable community nonprofits to deliver HEALing programs in PSE’s 10-county service area. We will seek action and encourage grant applications that provide the delivery of services, programs or products that can be quickly deployed and implemented. We will seek to leverage foundation resources with other funding partners to make a greater impact in our communities. We commit to intentionally allocating dedicated funding to organizations helping to bridge racial disparities and are addressing the needs of communities of Black, Indigenous and People of Color. Our grant application is now open! We welcome local nonprofit organizations serving the communities of PSE’s 10-county service area to apply. Our application process remains simple. We understand that our nonprofit partners need to spend their valuable time serving their clients and communities. That’s why we’ve enlisted PSE employee volunteers to help review grant applications from organizations serving the communities where they live and work. We are all in this together.

Thank you and be well.
